We’ve been conditioned to hustle and grind to become successful or to achieve more…That is, having time off or break shows as a weakness or sign of defeat. It is time to change this perspective or belief and practice slowing things down, recharging, and refueling from many commitments, especially distractions or noise in our world. You’ll be surprised how much productivity, focus, and that clarity you can have when you practice more of having time off in life.
Time off, vacation, or a long break is a great place to reflect on why you’re doing what you’re doing. Reassess the priorities in life, especially when you feel like you’re so overwhelmed or stressed. And most importantly – find that possibility and opportunity to have a work-life balance.
